Honolulu EMS Hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)

The Honolulu Emergency Medical Services is looking to hire heroes to join its Academy 4 Recruit Class. The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Human Resources has posted an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) recruitment notice on its website. The application period opens Tuesday, September 6th at 12:00 a.m. and will close Tuesday, September 6th at 11:59 p.m. Hawaiʻi Standard Time. Hired applicants will receive full pay and benefits, while participating in an EMT work/study training program for 40 hours per week.

The Honolulu Emergency Services Department will enroll employees in the Kapʻiolani Community College (KCC) EMT Program (approximately 16 weeks) and will pay all tuition costs and fees for each employee. This work/study program is tentatively scheduled to begin next summer. The monthly salary is $4,024.00.
