Meet the Health Services Team

The Health Services Branch is under the direction of the Honolulu Emergency Services Department. The staff is led by Branch Chief Karla Perry who oversees medical professionals entrusted with the responsibility of managing the city’s day-to-day medical needs to ensure safe working environments.

    Branch Chief
    Chief Perry oversees daily operations, budget, staffing of the Health Services branch. She manages 15 employees in her branch.

  • Isaac Ige, P.A.

    Medical Assessment Specialist
    Mr. Ige administers the physical examinations for all city employees and new hires.

  • Dr. Sandi Tsumoto

    Physician
    Dr. Uchida administers the physical examinations for all city employees and new hires.

  • Dr. Melanie Lee

    City Physician
    Dr. Lee is the City Physician and has been with the City for more than 15 years.

  • Darren Isobe

    Employee Assistance Counselor
    Mr. Isobe provides counseling opportunities for city employees seeking confidential mental health services for themselves or their families.
